"Easy on the ears and the heart" is the best way I can describe the experience of listening to just a few of the songs from Lara Wisdom's latest offering Enough is Enough. Her voice and melodies are very easy on the ears, while the lyrics tugged at my heart with a gentle, yet passionate intensity. Individually, each song stands firmly on its own to expose Lara's gentle and tender vocals, even in the more intense Phoenix. Collectively, they're a wonderful example of Lara's very impressive talents.

One of my most reliable tests of an artist's work is not just enjoying it on a first listen, but whether I can sit back and listen over and over for as long as I'd like, even coming back to it hours or even days later and still feel the same emotional waterfall flowing over me and not get tired of the songs, and ultimately rejoice in the discovery of something new each time. I listened while leaning back with my eyes closed, concentrating solely on the music. I listened with the songs playing in the background while I was concentrating on editing and re-writing an emotional passage in my book that's soon to be published. I listened while I was sorting through lyric sheets from a weekend's worth of writing, while I was polishing my boots, and while I was on the phone, and I consistently found myself being pulled into each musical passage over and over again with an anticipation of another emotional release. “ – 123 Publishing
