Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Am I allowed to bring my own food and beverages into the festival area?
    Sorry, no food or beverage carry-ins allowed and this includes water. Empty spray bottles with fans or empty Stampede mugs are allowed.
  2. Are there seats available or do I bring my lawn chair or blanket?
    Bring your lawn chair. Please, no chaise lounge type chairs. Blankets are not permitted as seating in the main festival seating area.
  3. Is there disabled accessible seating, restrooms and parking?
    Yes. There is seating available to the left of the VIP section. The disabled person and one (1) assistant may sit in this section. Seating is limited, so please ask other family members and friends to remain in the general seating area. One disabled accessible restroom is a short distance away from the seating section and others are located elsewhere on the festival grounds. If you are in need of disabled parking, please be sure to display your state, city or county hang tag or license plate.
  4. Are pets allowed?
    No pets allowed except personal assistant or guide dogs.
  5. What is the traffic like going to the Stampede?
    Traffic does get a little heavy at certain times of the day. It is best to come early and stay late to avoid delays. Be sure to tune to 94 Country, 94.5 FM for traffic updates and weather.
  6. Are there children's ticket prices available?
    Yes. 5yrs and under are free, 6-12yrs $15 per day or $25 for the weekend. Children's tickets must be purchased at the gate.
  7. Do I need a special pass to get into the camping area?
    Yes. In order to gain access to the camping area, you must have purchased a camping pass and also possess a 4-day festival ticket. You will receive one campsite vehicle parking pass that will allow you to come and go as needed and one pass that must be affixed to your sleeping unit. You will exchange your 4-day ticket at the gate for a weekend wristband that will allow you in and out privileges to the festival. You must wear your wristband all weekend!
  8. I know I can't bring in food or beverages, but may I bring in a bag with wet-wipes, sun block, and a towel?
    Yes. All bags are subject to being searched at the gate by security.
  9. I heard that Country Stampede was moving from Manhattan. Is this true?
    Country Stampede will continue to be held at Tuttle Creek State Park, Manhattan, Kansas.

  11. How does the four day wristband work?
    Your concert ticket is exchanged at the front gate for a wristband. The wristband becomes your passport to re-enter the festival. Please take care of your wristband as it will not be replaced. Wristbands are non-transferable and are void if tampered with. All wristbands will be placed on the right wrist.

    You can exchange your tickets for wristbands beginning Thursday morning at Campground Check In or Thursday afternoon at either the East or West Festival entrance gates.”
