Have you ever attended a party with thousands of friends, national recording artists, and four days of nonstop music and fun?
The Country Stampede is a four-day country music and camping festival held at the end of June in Manhattan, Kansas. The four days are fun-filled and action-packed with great performers, fantastic food, colorful crafts, a swinging saloon, and much, much more!!!
The Country Stampede is held at Tuttle Creek State Park, located approximately 5 miles north of Manhattan on US Highway 24 / Tuttle Creek Blvd. We are less than an hour away from Topeka and Salina and approximately two hours away from Wichita and Kansas City, as well as, Lincoln and Omaha, NE.
The seventeenth annual event will take place June 21-24, 2012 and will feature headliners Toby Keith, Zac Brown Band, The Band Perry, and Luke Bryan. Past Country Stampede performers have included such artists as: Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Brooks and Dunn, Big & Rich, Alan Jackson, Reba, Keith Urban, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney, ZZ Top, Martina McBride, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Rascal Flatts, Hank Williams Jr., and many more!
Our 2011 event saw a attendance of approximately 160,000 people throughout the entire weekend. Everyone was lucky enough to feel as if they were sitting on the front row thanks to the 94 Country Giant Video Screen that allowed them to see the performers larger than life!
Not only was there fun inside the festival grounds, but a good time was had by all who stayed in the campgrounds.
Over 2,400 campsites were occupied by Stampede campers who found it to be a great and lively place to call home for the weekend. We offer both preferred campsites (with water and electrical hook-ups) and primitive campsites, which go on sale in December.
